"The Dogfish Tackle Company" was born in 1985.  This tackle center was located near the Welch Causeway in Madeira Beach.   It did not take long for the "Dogfish Tackle Company" to outgrow the walls of this location.  Thinking of my customers and wanting to offer them a larger variety of tackle I needed a better facility.  So in 1988,  I moved my dream to Redington Shores.  Oddly enough across from the pier where the name "Dogfish" originated.  Now the "Dogfish Tackle Company" facility has over 4,000 square feet of display area.  A rod and reel selection that is the finest on the west coast.  
With over 3,000 assorted rods and a 100 different reels on display, The "Dogfish Tackle Company" is truly a fisherman's paradise.
