June 22 - Scott Miller with a 50-pound black drum he caught in a cast net while trying to catch bait under the Howard Frankland recently. He was fishing with Capt Jamie Baker when the tossed the net blind by a piling, only the net stated to swim off. They eventually got the big fish aboard, with only minor damage to their bait net. All we can say, is if that's the kind of bait these guys catch, we don't want to see what they catch with it.

June 19 - Capt. Any Cotton has been on top of the tarpon in Sarasota. Here angler Jaso leans in to pose with a nice fish he landed. Get the details of this catch in others on our Sarasota area Fishtracker Chart.

April 30 - It was a first-ever snook for young Jacob, who along with dad took a trip in Tampa Bay with Capt. George Hastick. They landed several fish to 26 inches, spotting a few larger fish they could not get to bite. Members get details of where this bite is going on by viewing our Tampa Bay Fish Tracker chart.

Dear Bitetracker: Thanks to Bitetracker we had a super day. I checked the website and went to the area where trout were reported. Three of us landed 56 trout in about 4 hours. No count on the ones we didn't land and you know the biggest one got away! Bitetracker is the day planner for people who want to catch fish – John Wesphal, shown above right with Russ Pendergaff.
